Standing Up For San Diego Taxpayers
Your Republican Party is on the OFFENSE, standing up for taxpayers in the city of San Diego as the union-controlled school board tries to discriminate against local, non-union contractors (which represent over 90% of the workforce, mind you) from bidding on $2.1 billion dollars of work authorized under the recently passed Proposition S.Click here or on the image to the right to check out the mail piece which dropped to Republicans throughout the city yesterday. Discriminating like this is not only wrong and un-American, but will also drive up costs by more than $400 million.
When the mandated oversight committee recently decided to look in to this, the arrogant school board had their lawyer send them a letter, basically telling them to take a hike. Thankfully, the oversight committee didn't give in to the bully tactics and are looking in to it.
Click here to see a recent report by KUSI's Michael Turko on the matter, and when you're done, contact the offices of the three labor union hack board members; Sheila Jackson, Richard Barrera, and John Lee Evans and tell them to put taxpayers FIRST!
I smell recall in the air...
